I’ve just pipped 40 and it seems my hair is getting thinner and stopped growing. I was never blessed with glorious hair Sad

I’m naturally fair so I just look thin now.

Any magic cures you know?

Aveda do a very expensive one which is good but I just couldn't justify the price. Watching to see what else is suggested!

I've been taking biotin for a while and it seems to help. Only problem is that it isn't just the hair on your head it affects and I have to wax my legs every 3 weeks now rather than every 4-5!

Oh I’ll have a look at both of those now thanks.

Biotin is a Bvitamin (B7) so just look for a good multi that contains b7 and add good oils like nuts, avocados and egg to your diet (which also contains bvits).
I'd also recommend NOT dying your hair dark as you can really see how thin dark hair is against the scalp.

My lovely MIL bought me a bottle of Biotin recently, she uses them herself after the menopause left her with handfuls of hair falling out. The stuff we have is a bottle of 360 pills for £14.99, it's one a day for almost a year (result!). I've been on them for a fortnight and just waiting to see if they have any effect.

I’ve not suffered any thinning or hair loss as I’ve aged, if anything I have more hair on my head! I’ve always used Maison Pearson brushes which are bristle and I think they do make a difference in the condition of your hair.

When I brush my hair I don’t just brush my hair I also brush my scalp.

Hair massage feels amazing but some say it encourages hair growth-

@Cottonwoolmouth The tablets. I got a 1 year supply from amazon for about £15

Hair thinning is hormonal, unless your diet is so bad you're malnourished/vitamin deficient. There is no magic.
