Is anyone in their 20s and a WI member?

Thinking about joining my local group but am I going to be the youngest member by a fair few decades?

I'm worried about joining and finding myself with a group of much older women whom I've nothing in common with. Although I suppose that could happen in a group of women the same age so maybe I should take my chances.

Any thoughts appreciated!

Me! At 25 I'm the youngest by 40ish years but I don't care, I've made some amazing friends. Many branches allow you to attend a meeting as a visitor to get a feel for it before you join, and if you don't like your local one maybe try another as they're all different. I absolutely love it

Thanks for the reply Smile

I'm 27 but I've always been "older" if that makes sense. We've got four groups locally so I could go along and see how I feel.

What kinds of things do you do at your group?

Could you start one yourself Not? No idea how easy that is or how to go about it though!
