Recently decorated, new sofa and a change around. Couple of friends have commented about this wall that I've circled, and that it "needs something" - any ideas?? I don't really want any more furniture, but I agree it needs something - a fancy plant or something? Help!!

What would you put here??

Curtains?

impostersyndrome · 18/05/2019 16:45

Magazine rack ?

LemonMousse · 18/05/2019 16:48

I think it looks fine - maybe move the candle lantern from the corner to a more central position under the clock?

Big picture instead of the clock? Poster size maybe.

A plant has the advantage of adding some colour.

GardenFullofWeedsandKids · 18/05/2019 16:56

A long, low bookshelf. Would make it look really cosy, I think!

GardenFullofWeedsandKids · 18/05/2019 16:57

Actually, could you move the clock and put a tall bookshelf on that wall instead?

Tanfastic · 18/05/2019 17:02

Something like this?

A cat or a dog bed.

plunkplunkfizz · 18/05/2019 18:20

Console table and lantern sitting on it.

flissfloss65 · 18/05/2019 18:24

Just beaten to it! I would have a wooden console table with inlaid glass top. Put wicker baskets on the lower shelf. You could have a lamp, plant and a few photos on it.

Harebel · 18/05/2019 20:08

A very skinny console table with lamp or a mirror instead of the clock there?
