riding through the Yorkshire Dales on our motorbike or down through snake pass to Glossop on the way to Matlock Bath, standing on the top of Malham Cove , walking up Ingleton Falls so lucky to live in a green county with amazing scenery minutes from our house

needsleepzzz · 18/05/2019 14:31

Probably Durdle door in Dorset, beautiful

MintyCedric · 18/05/2019 14:31

Yorkshire Dales are spectacular, particularly the drive from Keighley to Wensleydale.

Scion457 · 18/05/2019 15:06

Yes to the Yorkshire Dales! We went last summer and driving through them felt like going back in time. I had the strangest feeling of peace wash over me just looking at the rolling hills, little bridges and stone walling. Going back in a few weeks and I can’t wait

DisgraceToTheYChromosome · 18/05/2019 15:13

Where to start? Looking over the cliffs at Nanjizal and seeing seals swimming in perfect cerulean blue.
The view from an HGV cab between Duddington and Uppingham roundabouts on the A47.
Druridge Bay with sunshine on Coquet Island.
Tryfan and the Glyders, from below and above.
Standing perfectly balanced on Crackstone Rib with the Pass spread out below you.
Malham.
Watching G&S at the Minack.
Pretty much any woodland with bluebells right now.
Golden Cap and the Jurassic coast in Dorset.

ineedaknittedhat · 18/05/2019 15:26

Glencoe in Scotland. Breathtaking.

CuriousaboutSamphire · 18/05/2019 15:33

Fourth attempt without the picture

Forest of Dean is absolutely beautiful.

You'll have too look it up yourselves as my picture from our dog walk this mit won't post!

NicoAndTheNiners · 18/05/2019 15:46

I would also say Bosherston.

Some of the heathland in north Norfolk round the kelling Heath area is beautiful. Various little deserted glades around the new forest.

Some beautiful places in the Peak District. Dove dale early in the morning before the crowds, up on the moor above Froggett, Chee dale, wolf cotes dale.water cum jolly. Places along the river derwent.

FauxFox · 18/05/2019 15:59

Oh what lovely places! We did a trip to Scotland last year and the scenery up there was gorgeous - little waterfalls everywhere and the lochs 💖

Wales is next on my list for a road trip I think... I am really keen to explore more in this country instead of going abroad- there are so many places I haven’t been yet!

Loch morlich (near Aviemore). Definitely my favourite place it’s so beautiful.

rareappearance · 18/05/2019 17:13

Glenlyon. It's breathtaking but so remote.

And the beach at Luskentyre on Harris. Picture perfect but bloody cold

hullaballoonie · 18/05/2019 17:23

We discovered the Gower last Summer, Worms Head and Mewslade Bay were two of our favourite places, so beautiful and unspoilt.

MrsOaf · 18/05/2019 17:29

Mwnt on west coast wales, swimming in the bay there dd & I had a wild dolphin encounter SmileSmile

Most of west coast of Scotland

Orkney islands

fairweathercyclist · 18/05/2019 17:34

The Antrim coast for me, although there are plenty of places in Scotland to give it a run for its money, eg Loch Lomond on a sunny day.

Also if you like beaches, the ones in Northumberland.

fairweathercyclist · 18/05/2019 17:35

Forgot Rhosilli Bay in Wales, too.
