2nd hand shoes?

Would you buy 2nd hand shoes for your DC? DD 9 wants a pair of Nike trainers and has been asking for about 4 months now. Should I just get 2nd hand pair off Ebay and wash them well. Or bite the bullet and buy new.
She ruins shoes in a matter of months climbing things plus has sensory issue so when buying shoes it involves alot of trying on different ones. I would have to buy online as we dont live near a shoe shop.

We always do. Not out of necessity, but because they're extortionate and I love an eBay bargain.

Some people really funny about it. But most of our stuff is eBay. Get amazing bargains and not contributing to more clothes in landfill.

I always get trainers off ebay for my dc, they take trainers to school for PE so they need 2 pairs which would get stupidly expensive.

I get pairs that are in excellent condition & have just been outgrown quickly.
