I bought a bunny!!!!! HELP - Bunny proofing suggestions?

So I took the plunge and bought a bunny. I grew up with them but they were mostly outdoor bunnies, with the exception of one who had no interest in wires and the like, luckily.

I have so many wires about this flat, its' part of the reason that has put me off so long. I'd love to hear your bunny suggestions (and stories) as to rabbit proofing your home in general and stuff I should be thinking about. Also has anyone tried any wire protectors and what types work best?

She is a female bunny (I used to mostly go with males as I felt they were more characterful but I didn't want to risk a squirter in the flat) but she seems sweet. She is about 6 months old so a little older than the usual (perhaps about into her 'naughty adolence' time so, preparing for a handful lol). She is being delivered on Monday so I have time to get some things sorted hopefully.

I'd like for her to be free roam eventually (only in cage at night or when I am out) but whether this comes to pass time will tell.

Before someone mentions it - I have adopted rabbits in the past but found adopted bunnies often have extra dislike of being caged so would be best with at least garden access so they can spend their pent up energy. If I get a garden in future I will look to adopt instead, again.

Also, I am not going to get her a companion, at least just yet as I will be about most of the day to keep her company and I don't agree personally that rabbits have to be kept in pairs. Infact, I grew up with a few kept in pairs and they got on each others nerves most of the time. If she had had a sister with her I might have taken it as well to be fair though xD

Anywayyyyy, really just looking for bunny safety suggestions (and personal belonging safety ones) and if you made the transfer to a free roam bunny (eg: ex hutch bun) how did it go? ...and bunny stories of course.

Ps: banana! (if you know what I mean hear well, you'll know xD)

Oh and: she is blackish and white harlequin (such a unusual colour!) with normal ears. I'll put up some pics when she arrives if anyone wants x
