I'm worried if we don't, we'll accidently see a spoiler!

I'm going for 5.30am. Twitter ruined last week's for me by 7am.

fussychica · 17/05/2019 14:13

No. Just won't use my tablet or look at any social media until I've seen it.

BurntSausage · 17/05/2019 14:19

Yup and I can’t wait. Got up for all of them at 2am except episode 4 when my eyes just wouldn’t stay open. It’s like being a kid again. The house is all quiet, it’s all dark and I’m on my own. Best way to watch it 😁

Originally planned to but the last 2 episodes have been so disappointing I really don't care enough to get up early anymore Sad I'll probably still watch it at some point during Monday though!

Asta19 · 17/05/2019 16:54

I'm actually off on a 3 day trip early Monday so I will just avoid any spoilers (if possible) and watch it on Thursday. I don't use social media much anyway so it shouldn't be too hard. I'm not overly invested anyway. Once they deviated from the books it wasn't that good.

MaddieElla · 17/05/2019 17:01

No. GoT needs to be watched at full volume to appreciate the music so I always wait until Monday.

If I lived alone I would.

happyhillock · 17/05/2019 17:04

Not a chance

beansonbread · 17/05/2019 17:14

Absolutely! My DH and I have got up at 2am for the whole of this series bar one episode when we were away. Watching at 2am makes it all more exciting - plus it's dark enough that if it's a dark episode you don't need to worry about missing anything.

I cannot wait for 2am Monday morning to roll round. Also don't want the season to end. Feel totally torn between excitement and heartbreak. I'm way too invested.

Hellohah · 17/05/2019 17:17

Been getting up at 5 to watch this last series. Much easier than staying awake until or getting up at 2 and then up for work at 6.15 👍

Metheven · 17/05/2019 17:18

I am definitely thinking about it. I start work at six so get up around half four anyway. It's only a couple of hours early, but really not sure yet.

Picklypickles · 17/05/2019 17:47

No, I've stayed up for the first 4 episodes and I can't cope with it anymore, it would mean another wasted monday sleeping all day!! I wont have the chance to get online whilst getting the kids ready for school anyway so I'll watch it as soon as I get back from dropping them off!

JugzyMalone · 17/05/2019 20:37

Is it on NOW tv at 2 or are you streaming elsewhere? What time is it on NOW if not?

BurntSausage · 19/05/2019 01:30

Jugzy it’s on NowTV at 2am on Sky Atlantic on watch live. It goes on the catchup feature after the live screening has finished so around 3.30am.

SpeckofStardust · 19/05/2019 01:43

There are some benefits to living in California, the weather is one (though we are currently ‘enjoying’ an unusually cold/wet spell for the time of year) and being able to watch GOT as it airs at 6pm is another.

JugzyMalone · 19/05/2019 12:40

@BurntSausage thank you!

BurntSausage · 19/05/2019 12:54

@JugzyMalone you’re welcome! I’m on a bit of a one woman mission to let people know they can watch it at 2am on NowTV as sometimes people think it’s just a catch up service.

EEEK THE COUNTDOWN IS ONNNNN!

LoudestRoar · 19/05/2019 14:58

Alarm is set, although we've now set it for 3am, so we can fast forward all the adverts!

I’d love to. Instead I’ll avoid the internet completely. I spoiled last weeks by mistake because I absent mindedly went onto to instagram. I’m excited!!!!!!!!

Metheven · 19/05/2019 17:47

I start work tomorrow at six, so think if I set the alarm for 3.30 I can watch it on Now on catchup. Possibly.

llangennith · 19/05/2019 18:03

I'm recording it to watch when I get up.

xsquared · 19/05/2019 18:17

Getting up at 5:30am instead.

Runner234 · 19/05/2019 18:32

I am and have done for the whole series, I'm excited. I've invested a lot of time into GOT so I would be absolutely gutted if I saw a spoiler so I think it's worth the 2am alarm.

LoudestRoar · 19/05/2019 20:57

@Runner234 exactly my thinking. 10 years in the making, I'm not going to have it ruined by Facebook Smile

CanoeDoYouThinkYouAre · 19/05/2019 21:24

I'm going to watch it after the school run. Curtains closed, phone off!

DH is in the states at the moment so he'll see it before me but he won't spoil it! I'm actually a bit sad about that, we've watched all of it together and now it's the final episode we're thousands of miles apart.

Now I've actually typed that out, I realise how silly it is!

Xyzzzzz · 19/05/2019 21:26

Tempted too but I’ve been disappointed all season with the storyline, so I’m thinking my sleep is more precious at this time.
