Today myself , dp and littlest dd had chips and 🍕 in Asda cafe. It was a whole pizza so we didn't finish it.
We bagged it up and brought it home for the dcs to have for dinner with 🍊. Mum dad and kids happy . My day has been good

Is this an Alan Bennett thread?

IronManisnotDead · 16/05/2019 19:29

You brought it home? Wish our cafes let you do this. I love the Cheesy Stuffed Crust pizza😀

daymiluvpizza · 16/05/2019 19:39

Who is Alan Bennett?

They usually do takeaway pizza but today had not boxes so we use zip loc bags 😊

This remind of a post I saw today where a woman accidentally posted on the town Facebook page instead of her own personal one Grin

SpoonBlender · 16/05/2019 19:56

Hurray for having a nice day! More of this sort of thing.

BarbaraofSevillle · 16/05/2019 21:11

Who is Alan Bennett

Seriously? Hmm

Our Asda cafes have been replaced by McDonalds. I don't know which is worse. McDs or Asda's terrible excuse for pizza.

DameMargaretofChalfont · 16/05/2019 21:16

I think I can see a Cream Cracker under the settee SmileSmile

poorbuthappy · 16/05/2019 21:16

Asda pizza esp the make your own ones are quite possibly the best pizzas in the world.

daymiluvpizza · 17/05/2019 07:19

@BarbaraofSevillle

Yeah seriously!!! This might shock you but not every person in Britain today has spent a lifetime in Britain 🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀

All 🍕 is good 🍕 . No need to be a snob darling.

@DameMargaretofChalfont perhaps pick it up before the 🐁 invade or kids find it first??

Asda pizzas from their cafes are amazing.

daymiluvpizza · 17/05/2019 07:22

@poorbuthappy certainly. We are also 'poorbuthappy' much nicer and not as addictive as dominos

OP posts:
daymiluvpizza · 17/05/2019 07:23

@Fairylea good bargains if you are treating the family or just want a snack

Slightly off topic but Asda 's frozen pizzas kept me going when I was a student. You could get six for £5 in the late 90s and their veggie one was still the best frozen pizza I've ever had. Great value!

If the Waitrose Set only knew about Asda's freshly made pizzas and currys, they would be sorely conflicted.

Tiscold · 17/05/2019 11:05

I certainly wouldn't be buying freshly done pizzas from asda after talking to a friend who works in that section

CitadelsofScience · 17/05/2019 11:09

What? You can get pizza in your Asda cafe? They don't do it in ours, I love their coffee but I'd go more if I could get pizza in there Shock

Fairylea · 17/05/2019 11:22

Tiscold I have worked in restaurants for 20 years and many, many chains I think you could pretty much say that about any of them! They’re only as clean and as good as the people that work there at the end of the day. I haven’t died yet! Grin

BeautyQueenFromMars · 17/05/2019 14:00

I don't know who Alan Bennett is either. I've heard of Gordon Bennett and Alan Partridge though...

Tiscold · 18/05/2019 14:34

Definitley fairylea but god i can't even look at that counter anymore Grin
