Why might my uterus be fluttering?

I’m not due on for another week but today my uterus has been fluttering on and off all day today.

It reminds me of the feelings I had when I was about 17-20 weeks pregnant with DC 2.5 years ago

I haven’t felt anything like this since then.

What could it be?

I’m quite a windy person (sorry for TMI) and this is strange

wind, it's probably your bowels you feel not uterus.

Yes I felt this in the hospital after I'd given birth and had a sudden panic there might be another one in there! It was wind :-)
