Is Tropic an MLM?

I recently reconnected with an old school friend on Facebook. She is, and always has been, a really lovely woman but looking through her timeline I see it is almost entirely about her work with Tropic - not much about her kids, holidays, nights out like most people's FB.

She doesn't seem to do any pushy selling to friends or family which I know is normal for an MLM but her timeline is full of gushing praise for Tropic products and the amazing work life balance, Susie Ma being an entrepreneurial genius etc...

Yes. A work colleague of mine sells it. It’s the latest in a long line of MLMs she’s been involved in. She never learns that they’re all as bad as each other and that she’s never actually going to make any money from them.

I have this too - a school mum who seems to just post photos of herself on Tropi 'reward" holidays or at award ceremonies talking about how amazing Susie is and how "lucky" she is with lots of #blessed and #livingmybestlife type hashtags. I want to reply with "how much have you ACTUALLY earnt since joining?" but I haven't... yet. One more gush about Susie though and I may. As an aside, a while back I actually tried using Tropic products and my skin has never been so awful - the weird face scrub that's so oily you can't actually wash it off...

I have to stop myself commenting on the posts going on about Tropic's green credentials when their rewards involve lots of long haul and short haul travel. So far including South Africa, Mauritius, Lapland, Paris, Barcelona, Monaco and the upcoming Cambodia/Vietnam. Also great trips but hardly pay mortgage and are not with own partner/family. Also use so many days leave can hardly do alongside a full time job and know as fact actually earnings very low. Feel better for that rant!!
