No, I researched it but decided we wouldn't get enough use out of it to justify it - not very helpful, I'm afraid!

Have you looked at what apps/games he'd be interested in?

Thanks @theheathen. I bought it in the end as he is desperate for VR and this seems the least expensive out there.

No idea how it works but it seems to have fairly decent reviews - we'll see!
