That’s it really. I don’t know if what I wasn’t to do is even possible!

I want to set up a master spreadsheet listing all cost information for each job. I then need to be able to transfer this info onto a new workbook. I’m tearing my hair out trying to figure this out. Can anyone help me?

Yes I think I get it thanks. However I think matches are simpler, you can do similar with multiple criteria. However I am going to try that out just so I know it's available.

I'm back and have been trying BrieandChilli's formula - all seems to go well until I get to copying the formula on sheet 2 for Cell C Not sure what I'm doing wrong but it's not working Sad

I'm going to try pivot tables next. If anyone wants to have a go, I'm happy to email the spreadsheet over but I understand it's probably not everyone's idea of fun!

Do you want to email it to me and I’ll have a go, might be easier for me to apply the formulas??

I would love to if that’s ok. I’m out at the moment but will send you a pm when I’m near my computer. Thank you so much. It nearly worked!
