Car seat advice for an 8 year old

Hi, my son is growing out of his stage 2/3 car seat. Does anyone have any links of car seats or advice on the best car seats to bridge the gap until he doesn’t need one please?

That group normally does until they are tall enough to not need a seat. It's 135cm or age 12 whichever comes first

My 8 year old has grown out of her high back booster at 133 cm. I have removed the back so it's just the booster cushion, is that not the stage 3 part? Would that work for you?

Hi sorry for the delay. Ok so he is 141cm so all I need to do is get a couple of boosters then? Thanks

He doesn't need one

Legally he doesn't need one but check if the seatbelt sits nicely across his shoulder. If it's up by his ear somewhere she would be safer and more comfortable on a booster cushion. If your seatbelts are adjustable, make sure they are on the lowest setting.

We just have a booster seat now, the car seat was too cramped, but DD is quite big and tall for her age.

My DD is too tall for a high back booster now. Just bought a couple of £10 booster cushions because she prefers being higher in the seat for now.
