Best egg free brownie recipes

Please hit me with your best, tried and tested egg free brownie recipes. I'm making a batch for a vegetarian relative.

What do you use instead of egg to bind the mixture together? Some recipes call for chopped apples, has anyone tried similar?

Thanks in advance!

Vegetarians eat eggs, do you mean vegan? In which case you don't want any dairy either.

Ironfloor269 · 15/05/2019 16:13

Lacto vegetarian so she eats dairy but no eggs or meat.

If they are vegetarian and not vegan you can use eggs. Otherwise just google for vegan brownie recipes.

MyGastIsFlabbered · 15/05/2019 16:46

Ah ok. Well I've made these before which were gorgeous. Not for a long time though as I'm supposed to be on a diet!

These are THE brownies: beamingbaker.com/double-chocolate-pecan-brownies-vegan-gluten-free-dairy-free/

Sorry it’s one of those bloody blogs that ramble on for hours before just posting the recipe, but it’s worth the scroll! They are ridiculous. Make double because you’ll eat all of them before she gets them Grin

MustardScreams · 15/05/2019 16:52

Oh for the oat flour you just whizz rolled oats in the blender till a fine dust.

Justincase87 · 15/05/2019 16:54

tasty.co/recipe/the-best-ever-vegan-brownies these are amazing and not too far from a 'normal' brownie recipe

Ironfloor269 · 15/05/2019 17:09

Thank you soo much. I'll give one of these recipes a go and let you know how they turn out.

@mustard, I knooow. Why can't these bloggers start with the bloody recipe and carry on with their ramblings afterwards so that those who just want the recipe aren't forced to read their drivel. Oh wait...
