Need to switch energy supplier - anyone using other than the big 6 suppliers?

Npower just dropped a £600 bill following a meter reading I've sent through recently. Dd was set at £75 a month for electricity only, however it turns out they have underestimated this and we should have paid £125 a month.
We do not use electricity to heat the apartment and heating is paid separately. I find it extremely expensive?
The biggest savings I cane across on some of the comparison websites offer savings of over £300, but they are small suppliers like Ovo, Bulb, Toto, etc.
Has anyone used them?

You could do worse than check out Bulb. Cheap and green.

Feel free to use my referral code : bulb.co.uk/refer/jasonl2330

I went via the Martin Lewis website, moneysavingexpert, used their comparison tool, but you do need to have an idea of your annual consumption. I've been with Avro Energy for 9 months, and haven't had any problems with them at all. I don't have a smart meter, but I get an email every month as a reminder to read the meter and enter the readings on their very-simple-to-use website. Unlike most other companies, you do have to pay the first month up front, which I understand isn't always possible for everybody. I'm in a small two-bed terrace, and am paying £65 per month, and anticipate that I will have overpaid when the contract is up in August.

I've found Octopus Energy to be really good. Simple to set up the switch from your old supplier and I'm saving £80 a month. Importantly customer services are great and easy to talk to.

I use Ovo, have done for years, and find them really good. (I also have a referral link for a £50 John Lewis, M & S or Amazon gift card ovoenergy.mention-me.com/m/ol/kq1hl-emma-ward-19 )(I have a really common name so I don't care about it being in that link - I'm not exactly outing myself).

Ovo do the warm home discount, which is great if you qualify for it. They also give you interest if you go into credit with them, which I really like.

We set up with Octopus. Had to email them to postpone dd as had a vet's bill of £££££. They were very sympathetic and continued my changeover anyway!! Big yes from me.

Just switched from Ecotricity to Octopus. Still green, but I will save £35 a month.

Been with Bulb over a year, great app and they've lowered tariff twice

We've been with Ovo for the last 6 or 7 years and I've been so happy with them that I haven't even looked to move. Really great service, plus they pay an interest bonus if you are in credit with them. I don't think they are the very cheapest, but the service level makes up for that.
