What basic skills does Google home mini have?

DS wants to buy a Google home mini.

What basic plug in and "play" skills does it have? His sister has an Echo that does reminders, plays the radio and has some quizzes and kids stories that link to the Alexa app.

We don't have Spotify, Amazon music, audible or anything like that.

I've got a Google home and a mini and they do pretty much the same as the Amazon Echo/Dot does. I mainly use mine for listening to the radio, listening to music (via my Deezer subscription), as an alarm clock, as a timer when I'm cooking and for asking it questions when me and DP disagree about something!
