What is this song? Losing my mind ...

Male singer, slow grunge-y emo type balland, yearning vocals, slow build, melodic, quite up and down in the tones. Similar to Radiohead's Talk Show Host but less rock-y.
"I want to be ... la la la la la la" or similar vocals in the hook.
It may have been used in a recent TV programme or trailer, it's kind of spooky. Please can you help?!

Thanks for all of the great suggestions so far, no luck though.
It's not Talk Show Host (I know it really well, used it in a work project once) but every time I hum The Song it reminds me how similar they are.
It's a fairly mainstream sound, no way older than 15 years, very unsure of the lyrics though, sorry! The singer is male, pretty sure white.
Have recently been watching Mum, Fleabag, American Horror Story s 7, The Act, Escape at Danemorra. If I could hum it and post it here I would!

I have found the most obscure songs from typing everything lyric I know into YouTube, even if I miss words. I also used to find what I was looking for in find the song from lyrics.

None of these, I'm so sorry! Some awesome tunes though, I'm grateful.
Part of the melody is reeeeally similar to the bit in Talk Show Host that goes:
I want to be someone else or I'll explode
but slower, softer

Thank you. I know most of Nick Cave's songs and yes similar style but this one is a younger, softer voice with wider range and more of a produced pop sound.
