Hello Mums, I'm 10 weeks pregnant and today I've seen the midwife for the first time at St Mary's Hospital Paddington, I've had a previous experience there with my sister last year, I went with her to first midwife apoiment and it was totally different from what i have experienced today, with my sister the midwife had lots of question about her health history with me bearly a few at one point she asked: any other healt problem in the past? And I was :like what?and she said: you know, liver problems and stuff, (she wasn't aware that i had any previous experience) and i sad no, and that was all, and if I smoke do drugs or have any mental health problems, diabetes or surgeries, and a few more question, i have sit there waiting for her to finish all question and to put her a few question as is the first time for me as pregnant woman, and she just got up at one point and said let's go, and took me to have the blood test, after I had the blood test went back to her but she was already with another patient, and told me that we are done. I'm just confused, is this the new protocol or just that midwife was in a hurry? All the apoiment, with waiting time and fix the new apoiment at the reception last less than 40 min.
