Hello Grin

In total about 8! I’ve had a few years break & started again just recently. So really I’m starting again.

Don’t even have my theory test yet!

Do you get much practice out of lessons? I can’t & I’m thinking this is going to be a long process.

Same here, one a week! Hoping to jump up to two though.

Nope no one I can practice with, if I bought a car I think I could rope someone into it! But nervous of the costs that come with that for now.

Congrats on your theory pass! Mine is booked for a few weeks so I’m on the app all the time. I really like it.

Just want to get back out and keep going!

Same price here! Though I paid for 10 & will see how I go.

I’m working towards saving for the rest of it as I go.

Good luck getting your bf on side! I’m sure it would be a great help.

Thank you! That’s so helpful, I was thinking how the feck am I supposed to remember all those?! Will try & apply that now!

Hi can I join, Iv had about 14 lessons now. Had to change instructor as the first one was rubbish.
I'm on roundabouts at the moment and they scare the hell out of me, I'm really hoping it all becomes a lot easier very soon.

Oh for sure, new instructor is so much better explains everything and is so calming.

In my head I can do the roundabouts, it's trying to remember everything and terrified you'll stall in the middle of the roundabout, they are huge and fast here.

Do you have any outside practice? I really want to go out with my dp have only done it once but too scared because of the lack of dual controls. Plus our car is so different, too powerful for me I think 😞

Omg you must be gutted, was the car insured?

No instructor doesn't have to use the dual controls, last lesson he went for them at the same time as me when traffic lights changed last minute, I really must go out with dp would cut down on paying for so many lessons SmileI'm only doing a lesson a week and it feels like it's taking forever.

Oh I can't even imagine myself going on the motorway, I have enough anxiety with the roundabouts lol
How many lessons have you had?

Aw not so good, last thing you would expect would be a tree to fall on it though.
Oh it's definitely a confidence thing with me, instructor tells me all the time I'm my own worst enemy lol
Funny I was coming home from work last night at 9pm and thought streets are so quiet would be an ideal time to come out with dp, (I must be brave )Grin
Done my theory in April so that's one less thing to worry about.
Do you feel close to being ready to do your test?

No haven't been out with dp, don't feel ready to do it yet, had a great lesson today, multiple roundabouts and no major dramas Smile I think other cars just see a learner car and think I don't want to be behind them, I had one overtake me last week I was doing 55 so there really was no need!!
Oh if you are passing your mock tests, go for it, Your instructor must think you are ready. I can't ever see myself test ready, I am progressing though (slowly) lol
