Massive luck OP I second remembering to smile all the time, even if you don't feel like it! Is it the type of interview where they will be scoring you per question do you know? x

nrpmum · 13/05/2019 06:37

Deep breath! You got this 😁

MrsTJOsbornee · 13/05/2019 06:41

Good luck! 🍀 take time answering questions. Talk about you, not others when they ask for things you've done.

Otterses · 13/05/2019 06:47

Good luck Grin

Let us know how you get on.

whereonearth · 13/05/2019 06:47

Good luck!

The best advice I ever got was to go into it knowing that you CAN get the job. So often we go into job interviews with lots of pre-emptive worries of why we probably wouldn’t get it and it colours our performance! You can totally get the job. And don’t think of it as a job interview, but a business meeting! They are looking to buy something, and you’re selling! All you need to do is tell them what they need to know about why your skills meet their needs. Simples. Smile

BambooB · 13/05/2019 06:52

You'll do fine :) x

Chimchar · 13/05/2019 06:58

Good luck! 🍀

ScreamingValenta · 13/05/2019 07:07

Best of luck! Being nervous is a good thing - adrenaline heightens your performance in a stressful situation. Don't worry about your nerves showing - they will be interpreted as keenness which again, is just what the interviewers will want to see.

Oblomov19 · 13/05/2019 07:11

Good luck.

8FencingWire · 13/05/2019 07:33

Sending you good luck! Star

Oh thank you everyone! I'm doing a recap of my notes whilst baby is hanging off my boob. Grin she's been so grizzly all morning.

OldGrinch yes the interview answers will be scored.

whereonearth that's a great mindset to have! Great tip! But i keep defaulting to the "how did I even blag myself an interview. The other candidates must be amazing!".

Aaargh! I have come back not sure. I think the interview went well but I just didn't not get s good vibe off the manager. The other people on the panel were lovely and friendly but the manager just seemed to really nit pick everything on my CV and seem to really not like me!

Oh well. So so wanted this job but really she has put me off! Such a shame as I think I would have been really good at it.
I'm sure she won't hire me!

Twerking9to5 · 13/05/2019 14:23

When will you find out OP? Perhaps the manager was like that with all interviewees!

LuckyDust · 13/05/2019 14:50

No. I really think she had an issue with me. There were a few things that she kept bringing up. I felt that she was coming to conclusions about me just from my cv.
At one point, in a long winded way saying that we can't have anyone who will be having children in the next few years as she wants someone who's committed! Some of the stuff she came out with was quite bizarre!

I'll find out at the end of this week.

Ooh good luck and positive vibes OP, after interview reactions can’t always be trusted in my experience 🍀

LuckyDust · 13/05/2019 15:02

Thanks. I'll see what happens. It's funny how I so wanted this job and now I'm really not sure I want it at all.
