4 month old baby won't go to sleep unless on me

He's now turned 4 months and still won't & never has fallen to sleep unless he's on me feeding. Even if he's really tired he just get frustrated so I feed him then he's asleep within 2 minutes.

Is this normal? When should I start introducing some routine? He won't go to sleep until 10pmish

My DC went through a similar phase (although by 4 months I wasn't breastfeeding and it was just for comfort) - DC is 3 now and luckily doesn't insist on sleeping ON me these days however we have moved on to hair holding - DC insists on holding my hair to sleep 🤣 - they only need us like this for such a relatively short period of time in their lives that I've given up trying to get DC out of the habit - they say DC stops I know I will miss it more than the comfortable nights sleep I might get x
