About 8/9.

The writing is nice but the spelling is poor.

redhotchill · 12/05/2019 21:14

So are the corrections. Drapped?? You mean Draped?

8

fromthefloorboardsup · 12/05/2019 21:14

I'd also say KS2 age, so between 7 & 11

Devonishome1 · 12/05/2019 21:16

8

Justlikedevon · 12/05/2019 21:16

OP, I wouldn't play this game if I were you, if the responses are at odds with the answer, you may end up feeling more stressed. (Unless this was written by a 3 year old and you are wanting to know if they are gifted!)

MsJaneAusten · 12/05/2019 21:18

Is some of it peer marked or is that all by the teacher?

(Drapped? Draped or wrapped...?)

NameChangeNugget · 12/05/2019 21:19

7?

locketsprocket · 12/05/2019 21:19

Thank you, Dd is in year 7, year 8 September and I've been asking School about support but not getting anywhere, wasn't sure if I was just panicking to much as older Dd multiple learning disabilities were not identified until end of year 10 where a EHCP was immediately issued within 5 weeks, so concerned younger dd my have leaning difficulties

OP posts:
MrsKCastle · 12/05/2019 21:19

Could be pretty much any age from about 7 up.

Tink1990 · 12/05/2019 21:20

Around 10 I would say

formerbabe · 12/05/2019 21:21

I think 11

locketsprocket · 12/05/2019 21:21

Marked by English teacher

RubixCubix · 12/05/2019 21:21

Is there a prize for closest guess?

I'm going for 14-15 years old. Wink

Idontmeanto · 12/05/2019 21:21

Judging by the “understanding how our work will be assessed” and GCSE reference they must be year 9 or 10, (age 14-15) low to middle ability and need some help with spelling.

formerbabe · 12/05/2019 21:22

Very surprised some people are guessing 7 Shock

MrsKCastle · 12/05/2019 21:22

X-posted. What have the school said about her level? Just on this one piece, she does look like she needs some support with organising her ideas, as well as punctuation and spellings.

Wondermoomin · 12/05/2019 21:22

I hope it's peer marked and the red pen is not the teacher's.

Drapped? Your DD clearly meant wrapped but spelled it r-a-p-e-d.

Quikly? Argh!

AnneEyhtMeyer · 12/05/2019 21:23

Year 4 - spellings are worse than I'd expect by year 5 but the marker's spelling is a bad example.

Wondermoomin · 12/05/2019 21:23

X post, oh dear an English teacher marked it? Wow.

Yes I'd say the writing was in line with about 8 years old.

fancynancyclancy · 12/05/2019 21:25

Unless the child who did this was 6 months old it’s not worth the hassle op as you will get told that someones dog can spell, write, etc better.

mabelmylove · 12/05/2019 21:25

Well she’ll never learn to spell with an English teacher who can’t spell either!

MrsKCastle · 12/05/2019 21:25

I assume the teacher marked in green and the red is self-corrections?

HollyBollyBooBoo · 12/05/2019 21:26

I was going to say an 8 year old just because it looks exactly like my DDs.

Elisheva · 12/05/2019 21:26

I think the red pen is where she reviewed her own work? Then the green is the teacher.
How is her reading?
