Where stocks wellies at this time of year?

Mine have split...

Need something fairly cheap at I'm a bit skint at the moment. Tried Primark, Matalan, Schuh (which only had pricey Hunters) and TK Maxx. I would have thought there was a market for wellies for festival goers but shop staff have said they won't be in until the winter!

Has anyone seen them in stores lately? Confused

The internet.

peanutbutterismydownfall · 12/05/2019 17:18

Fashion shops may not have them but I would have thought that anywhere that sells ourdoorsy/adventure/gardening type clothing would have them. Our local garden centre certainly has them all year round.

WrongKindOfFace · 12/05/2019 17:27

Shoe Zone have them from £9.99. www.shoezone.com/Womens/Wellies They have hundreds of shops so probably one near you.

Or places like Trespass or Regatta do free delivery to store.

Supermarkets also have them online, if not in store.

We had the same issue with DD at Easter (adult 6) Admittedly we were in the back of beyond but got some from a garden centre for a reasonable price.

Sainsbury's had some but they have gone into their 1/2 price sale so you would have to be lucky.

Land0r · 12/05/2019 17:42

Have you tried Asda? Ours had loads in yesterday.

twilightcafe · 12/05/2019 17:43

Amazon or garden centres?

GoGoJo · 12/05/2019 17:50

Try tk maxx online. They often have hunters cut price and they are well worth the money. Last for ages and so much more comfy.

britnay · 12/05/2019 17:56

Hunters nowadays are cheap crap. I get through a pair in a matter of months.

OP, try a farm or equestrian type store, they have a wide variety of wellies all year round.

Charity shops, bigger supermarket clothes sections (less choice in the summer but they usually have some), outdoorsy shops (Tresspass usually have them, but not the very cheapies), sports and fishing shops, horsy shops (you couid always get paddock boots if you really cannot track down ant wellies)
