eBay help!!

My dd has just made an accidental purchase on eBay for £120 I tried to cancel the order but it said it's already been paid (money is out of our account via PayPal already). The shop says it's in Manchester but the money has gone to a Chinese account. What are my chances of success?? Also the shop has an eBay money back guarantee badge so that's making me more hopeful!

Contact eBay help straightaway, they do have a phone number or online chat, as they are really good.

Send a message to the seller asking to cancel the transaction, they will be able to do this as it won't have been posted yet. If they don't cancel and send anyway then they're a bit rubbish and you'll need to return for a refund. There will be an option to cancel the order in your purchase history next to the item in question

Thanks, yes I tried to cancel immediately but they payment etc had already gone though. I've spoken to eBay and the guy there said that what I've done (sent message to seller very soon after) is all I can do for now. Just need to wait for a response

Fingers crossed they are good seller and honour your request to cancel. There are other options available to you if they do send, might just take a little longer to get a refund if they do send, hope you get your refund soon
