Marvel Cinematic Universe movies

Dd(16) has decided that once GCSEs are over, she'd like to spend time watching the MCU movies this summer.

I know that I can download them illegally or separately but from a cost/moral/quality perspective I'd prefer to pay one subscription site and get them all legally. I've checked Disney Life and there is no sign of Marvel. Netflix and Amazon Prime have very little. Now TV have a handful which is great but it's lacking some of the major ones like Avengers Assemble. She's going to focus just on the movies for now.

Does she have friends who have some on DVDs that she could borrow?

Morgan12 · 12/05/2019 12:14

Sky cinema has loads but not sure if they have them all

BertieDrapper · 12/05/2019 12:20

Prob could get them all from a second hand place like Game exchange.... usually only a few quid then sell them back once watched.... or try the library for some.
I don't think any subscription service has them all.

Cost- cheaper to download.

Moral- hardly a moral stance to give more money to big corporations. The competition of people sharing is what has stopped them abusing their monopolies quite so much.

Quality- a HD movie is the same quantity, wherever the bytes came from.

Showbox

Spiderpants · 12/05/2019 12:57

Just a suggestion, it has the movies on there but is not morally correct

Celebelly · 12/05/2019 13:10

Now TV's monthly cinema pass will get you a few, not sure how many.

pikapikachu · 12/05/2019 13:39

I don't mind paying a fixed fee so she can binge watch them say in a month.

I'll definitely look into the price of used dvds.

Now TV - cinema pass has a lot of them. Not all but seems more than Netflix and Prime

skippy67 · 12/05/2019 15:10

Get a now tv sky cinema pass. There are some great deals if you're a new customer, and you can cancel at any time.

I've borrowed a few on DVD from the library. Only £1.50 each for a week at my local library. They probably won't have them all, but maybe enough to fill the gaps with streaming services.
My local library has Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2, Black Panther and Infinity War as well as a few others.

This is a bit old. I'd download a VPN (I use Express VPN) and then change your location to Korea. All the Avengers movies except Endgame are on Netflix Korea.
