I have two unrelated questions. What are yours?

If anyone can help with either / both of these I'd be most grateful.

And please feel free to post your own unrelated questions too!

  1. Vikings. Should I persevere? I love GOT, I love Outlander, I thought I'd love this. My DH is of Viking descent so I thought, you know, this will be right up my street. But so far (I'm on S1 ep 4) I cannot see anything redeeming in any of the characters, their motivation for raiding England escapes me since they have to give all their wealth to their creepy lord anyway, the acting is poor and the men aren't even particularly hot........
  1. Hayfever. I have this for the first time and I'm nearly 47!! I have the non-itchy-eye variety and I thought it was a cold at first. For four weeks. I'm taking the daily antihistamines (loratadine) but how long do I need to take them for? A month? Until Christmas? When does this hell stop??!!

Thank your any help you can give and I look forward to reading your totally unrelated dilemmas / questions / problems too Grin

  1. I'm also new to hayfever. I get a lot of nasal congestion which I though was just an ongoing cold. I now take centirizine and use beconase nasal spray which keeps the worst of it at bay. Some hayfever friends tell me they either take centirizine all year round now, or start well before hayfever season. The cheap supermarket £1 centirizine is as good as the expensive £6 a pack brands.
