blunt hair cuts?

i have very long hair that borders on wavy/curly and have booked in for a haircut next week. i love the idea of a blunt collarbone skimming cut but don’t know whether this would be hard to style? i tend to either straighten my hair or plait whilst damp. or any other suggestions for thick wavy hair and a round/angular face shape?

Have you had it cut short before? Mine is long with a bit of a wiggle when wet. I got it cut into a bob and ended up looking like the 4th member of bananarama, a huge, frizzy bob that had a mind of its own and shrank due to the wiggle becoming a vile frizz. Thank God for straighteners and fast growing hair....

My hair is thick and has a natural wave. Its fairly long at the moment and I straighten it. I had it shoulder length and it was still wayward and did what it wanted.

I think a blunt cut can look really good with thick hair but you may need more styling.

My hair needed a heavy duty grilling with the straighteners and tended to flick up/go wavy at the slightest drop of humidity. I liked the way it looked though and it did suit me.
Maybe just try it, shoulder length grows out quickly.
