Just looking on Argos... Is it like an instant pot, just cheaper?

I keep on looking but haven't bought one yet. I use a slow cooker but am considering swapping to a pressure king because it means everything is done quicker.

I'm hovering over "Buy" Grin I think I'll go for it...

I’m debating one of these or an instant pot. I have gift vouchers from Christmas! I’ve been ill and I’m wondering if it will make my life easier..

I've only really used the Stew function so far, recipe book is not particularly extensive. I find it rather deep and awkward to fry in.

I'm going to make meatballs in it shortly Smile

I’m intrigued to know how you get on!

SneakyGremlins · 11/05/2019 19:07

I'm running the cleaning cycle. Is it meant to hiss while it's on? Hmm

I wouldn't have bothered, they're shit. Ended up selling mine.

LIZS · 11/05/2019 19:10

What cleaning cycle? It will hiss if you have the valve closed.

SneakyGremlins · 11/05/2019 19:13

You're supposed to run it with just water in before first use according to the instructions.

Have adjusted the valve and it's working now - and actually counting down!

Ya they are good - the only thing to remember is that some foods need to let off ste it they will be watery if cooked solely in the cooker. Also some foods do burnt on the bottom of you aren’t careful.

I love mine though.
