Do you or do you know others who take cocaine?

I have been surprised reading here about people talking about taking cocaine. I don't know anyone who does and I never have. I have never been offered coke either. I know two people who used to take cocaine, but both of them say they used to take everything going. But apart from them, no one.
What about you?

coffeegrounds I believe my close friends. They do tend to be honest about things, including things that don't make them look so good. I also know DP has never taken cocaine.
Two friends have taken cocaine and as I said they both say they have taken and tried lots of drugs when younger. Sure I can imagine they might still occasionally. But they sound like the hard partying type when younger. I never hung out with that kind of crowd.

oblomov In some ways my life has been far from sheltered. I have actively avoided when younger people into drugs and/or heavy drinking. I knew some very very dodgy types when younger, and grew up in a very rough area, I didn't want that for my family. So have tried to make sure my close friends are decent people. So my closest friend has never tried any drugs ever. One of the two ex partying types I know is her DP, who has told me they were taken aback when my friend said she has never tried anything.
And because of my background, I have learned to choose friends very carefully. Ironically when talking to close friends about drugs we may have tried, I have tried more than any of them. But all when very young. And coke was expensive then, so it was a no go.

Never have and never would. I've been a fairly big drinker in the past, but have never touched drugs or even cigarettes. Not aware of anyone I know using cocaine. I guess some could be, but I doubt it. I live in a fairly rural area and the people I know are late 40s parents, pretty staid. I would hate taking anything that hyped me up at all tbh. I only drink decaf because proper coffee makes my heart race and gives me the jitters!
I've never even been offered drugs (even when at university or when I lived in London). I'm pretty happy to have had a sheltered life!

Lots of school friends take it, and DH used to.
i steer clear after half a joint sent me flouridly psychotic but it’s not uncommon and I’m talking midwives, teachers, grandmas all taking hard drugs
