Scales don't agree - where to get weighed accurately.

I've been using my bathroom scales since Jan to lose weight and thought I lost about a stone. I weighed myself on my wii fit and I'm apparently 5 pounds lighter than I thought I was. Where can I can an accurate weighing so I know which is more accurate, the wii fit or the bathroom. Do pay for wright machines still exsist and are they accurate?

Just pick a scale and use it. Ignore all others, and weigh yourself once a week and you should see a pattern after a while. What does it matter if your scale is a few pounds out? Surely whether your maintaining / losing weight is more interesting.

If you want an accurate reading, most GP’s have electronic ones that do your height too!

If you've been using the same scales since January and they say you have lost about a stone, then you have. Most sets of scales will be calibrated slightly differently. You don't know what the wii fit would have weighed you in January so you aren't comparing like with like.

I have been weighed at hospital and the doctors within a week and they varied by 3kg

I was weighed at our Doctors last week and weighed nearly 12lb more than on our scales at home. So they went straight in the bin.

I bought a new pair from Amazon and they match the GPs ones.

Try and see if your local Boots has a machine, they often do or any big chemist. Failing that, your local leisure centre or gym.

I would trust a pair of scales over a wii fit, to be honest.
