Job offer what should I do

Had an Interview for a job on Wednesday they said that I would hear back by end of the week. Recruiter rang me to ask how it went and said she would chase up and let me no what they have said. It’s now end of Friday and I still haven’t heard anything. Would I be unreasonable to email the recruitment company and ask if there has been any news they have been in constant email communication with me previously

I would wait until Monday morning.

You won't get a response until Monday earliest now anyway. Give them until Monday lunchtime.

The week hasn't ended yet! I'd expect to hear by 6.30pm.

I always wait until the day after they've said they'll get in contact unless it's the second time speaking to them eg had an interview and told they'll call on Monday. They don't call Monday so I call Tuesday. They say they're still figuring some things out so they'll call Thursday. If they haven't called by 3pm Thursday I call them. I've always thought of it as looking keen to work for them rather than being annoying (although I understand it could be annoying to have to take time out of work to answer the phone I suppose)

I heard back from the recruiter was all positive I interviewed really well and will find out Monday they just have someone there interviewing today.
