Is there a decent cordless stick vacuum under £200?

My crappy, heavy Vax is on its last legs and very selective as to what it will and won’t pick up . I really want a Dyson Animal or a Shark cordless stick or something similar but my budget doesn’t allow for £300. Can anyone recommend their cordless stick vacuum if it was under £200 - something around £150 Would be ideal. I was all set to get a Dyson v6 but the reviews weren’t too good. Any recommendations appreciated.

Why don't you look at the Vax Blade 2? You can pay in installments with no interest. Its bloody brilliant. You get a free kit worth 50 quid if you buy direct. It's probably a bit above your budget but instalments of 50 quid a month may help.

Thank you. I’ve never bought a bug purchase like this off eBay. Is it safe and what happens if it breaks?

Don't buy a Vax Blade 32v. Utter crap.

I got a reconditioned Dyson from their own ebay store - they still come with guarantee etc. It's still going strong a few years on! here

Thanks this is really helpful. I’m loathe to get a vax as I’ve had 2 corded cylinder ones and they’ve not been good poorbuthappy Will look at the Dyson eBay store Pootles. Thanks for the link.
