Contraception

Needing some new contraception - my gp is not helpful & sexual health clinic can't get me an appointment for 3 weeks - so asking some advice.

I've just come off of the implant - it had stopped working and I was getting bleeding constantly & migraines.

I need longer acting contraception so would rather avoid the pill as I know I'll forget to take it.
Also I can't have the injection again as that made me loose a lot of weight and I've struggled to get into a healthy weight as it is.

Does anyone have the coil?
I've just got the all clear after cervical cancer so not sure if this is suitable for me now .... as sex is still not "normal"

The patch?
Anything else I'm missing - I don't want to be left without any cover.

Obviously condoms are being used but going forwards ...

Thanks

There's a contraceptive ring now, somehow it gets inserted in your vag and stays there! It does need replacing monthly though.

I used to have a coil and it was definitely effective but I got really bad cramps with it.
