Just terrified a child

Was just out driving the car and was going through an intersection on a green light, when suddenly a car turned right in front of me. I slammed on the brakes and stopped inches away from the car's door and a terrified looking 7 year old in the front of the car. I presume his dad who was driving must have gone straight through a red light.
How bloody stupid!

People who go through red lights are fucking numpties with a death wish. Well done for being on the ball and stopping.

The thing that really angered me, is he would have probably been okay. It would have been his son who got hurt.

No, you did not terrify them. the other driver did. You drove responsibly and prevented a child being injured.

What's the 7 year old doing in the front seat? Shameful driving from the dad, you're right it would have been his son that was hurt. Well done being on the ball enough to stop on time.

That happened to me in Glasgow the other week. DSD and DS1 in the car at a crossroads in London Road a car shot through a red light and I only just missed being wiped out. Horrible.

Hope you're not too shaken up, it wasn't you who terrified him! It was his dad.
