Job Interview - so excited and scared!

I've been a SAHM for the last three years, having left a reasonably well-paid job in a technical and male-based industry. I've been applying for part-time jobs and I've got a phone interview tomorrow, I'm so excited!

But so scared too - I haven't had an interview in absolutely years, any tips you lovely lot can give me?? It's a different industry to my previous jobs, but my skills will transfer well. I've done a bit of research on the company online, but I have so little confidence in myself after 3 years of nappies and toddler-speak... help!

You'll be fine.

Be calm. Take a breath between their question and your answer to collect your thoughts.

In terms of confidence....fake it till you make it.

You know you have the skills, try and take the approach that they'd be lucky to have you, that they need to impress you too.

Good luck!

Thank you, I really do appreciate that Smile I didn't even get a rejection letter when I applied for a job recently with my previous employer, which hasn't helped my confidence! It's something a bit different and sounds so interesting, so I don't want to mess it up!

Ooh I wouldn't even have thought of that, I was going to avoid having a cup of coffee because I'll be wired, but that's a good shout, thank you!
