Does anyone else answer their own problems by thinking "what would mumsnet say?"

Several times recently I've had an issue and composed a mumsnet thread in my head (I'm an overthinker, I can't put anything in writing until I've written and re-written something in my head Smile), then gone on to think of the likely replies I'd receive, and answered my own problem!

Or is it just me... Confused

I sometimes do this, but it's not very helpful as I imagine YABU and YANBU responses and still don't know if I am BU or NBU.

haha - good point! I think mine are more WWYD posts rather than AIBU, I don't think anyone can answer them for themselves Grin

I replied to an email asking me to do something with ‘sorry but that doesn’t work for me’ and thought that mumsnet would be proud!

Ooh, go you! I'm very impressed, I never remember things like that until after I've sent a huge email trying to talk myself out of something! I must try harder...

No but I grew up in the 70s watching The Mary Tyler Moore Show (single career woman working as tv producer) and used to ask myself ‘what would Mary do’!
