How can I buy this item?

There is an item in B and M that I really want to buy.
But my nearest store is 12 miles away. I can't phone and order in to store, I can't phone and check stock, no online purchases. I have been in to the store 3 times to be told the item is out of stock but it will be in the next day.
I have tried everywhere online but I can't find the exact one at such a bargain price.
Has anyone got any ideas on how I can buy it😀

Call the manager and grovel / give a sob story until she promises to hold one back for you

I've tried calling the shop local to me but I can't talk to a real person! Just endless press 1, press 2 on a loop!

Amazon sell similar but not as cheap! I was looking for a gazebo for teenagers party a month ago. Depends if it’s worth paying more for??

Ebay have it but at £250 collection only! Amazon have similar, but I want this one (stamps foot crossly)

My sister used to be a manager for B&M. She said it’s a horrible stock system. They never know what they’re getting in a delivery or when/if something will be back in store. They can check their incoming stock to see if something is coming, it will say yes, but it doesn’t tell them which delivery so it could be this week, next week or 3 weeks away. And they can’t hold stuff for customers when it does come.

She hated working there. For this and many other reasons.

OP do you have a poundstretcher locally? They often have the same stock as B&M at similar prices.

Thanks wigglypiggly I saw that but I'm not keen on the colour.
I quite like this one but it's a bit more ££ and doesn't look as sturdy.
You would think in this day and age you would be able to order from a high street store.

The Ikea version is very sturdy

Have you a Dunelm mill near you?

I do have a pound stretcher and a Dunelm mill in the same town as B&M but I've checked out both stores online and they don't have one.
Not keen on the Ikea one either. Thanks for your replies though.

Sorry the ones in Dunelm mill have proper sides I wanted net ones to keep out the mozzies and still see the garden.

Have you had a look on studio? I find they do a lot of the same stuff as b&m and good prices too. Worth a look.
