Isn't Archie a nickname? If he has red hair like his dad he will be like Archie from the comics.,

To me it feels like a name you choose when you can't think of anything else.

See for me that's Alex, so I was dismayed when I heard that was on the list. I know about 432 Alexes.

Not a fan of the name at all. Does he have a title? Will he be Prince Archie? Or would that have already been announced with it?

I bet the Daily Mail is frantically putting an article together featuring little boys already called Archie Harrison. There’s bound to be loads of them.

I don’t mind Harry and MM as Royals go but the name is horrid.

I wish they had gone a bit out there with Archibald and just nicknamed him Archie. This name is really bland.

Archie is a lovely name, I know a few, they are all rather posh.

I suppose it fits in with Mia/Lena/Savannah/Isla though, doesn't it? Prince William's children are perhaps the odd ones out!

I'm very pleased they haven't given him a title.

They have chosen not to give him a courtesy title, but he'll become Prince Archie if Charles takes the throne. According to the news.

They seem smitten and I'm happy for them.

Archie, Ernie, Alfie - I find all those names slightly ridiculous.

It’s also the name of an iconic John Lewis dog-on-wheels that was regrettably discontinued

The only Archie I've ever known was an Old English Sheepdog (he was lovely though, to be fair).

I teach 2 Archies, with another couple in the school.

We are not a posh school.
