Can I take my child out after a tummy bug?

Obviously keeping DC aged 3 off Nursery. Last sickness was 9.30pm last night, toileting has been normal today. Toast at 9am and just now have been kept down so will risk a slightly bigger meal at tea time (probably rice with chicken and veg made into risotto).

Do I have to keep her inside for the full 48 hours? Or could I for example tomorrow take her to the park for half hour or so? Do I need to avoid supermarkets like with CP?

Completely clueless, and this is her first tummy bug since I split with her dad, I have MH issues and go stir crazy in the house too long so will need to arrange someone to sit with her if I can't take her out.

Sorry for stupid questions.

I'd say if she's ok today, the park, a walk or similar outdoors activity would be absolutely fine tomorrow. I'd personally avoid indoors activities, just in case. Maybe keep anything you do slightly shorter than normal because she might tire quicker than normal as her body recovers from the bug Smile

I think a quite Park would be ok but definitely not a supermarket.

Thank you both, friends will go to the supermarket for me but being able to go for a walk etc will help so much. I still have her pushchair so I'll take that as well.

Park is fine as long as you avoid playgrounds. Nothing else, though, and definitely not a supermarket.
