Does this mole look dodgy?

Hello.....

Before anyone says how a bunch of strangers on the internet can't diagnose I know.... :) I'm unable to get a GP appointment until the end of June. It's an itchy mole, the last six weeks anyway. Has anyone had any experience of changing moles?

You need that checked, my DH had a dodgy mole and they cut it out quite quickly. I'd call NHS 111 and see if they can get you an emergency appointment as you need it looked at. It's the sudden itch that needs to be checked out

I think it needs checking - you need to request an urgent appointment at gp and not a routine - good luck x

Get it seen to, itching is a warning sign.
DH has lots and lots of moles and that looks "unusual". Most "unusual" moles he's had were perfectly harmless, but better be sure.

I had a BCC removed a few years back so I’m quite vigilant with checking and what to look out for.

Itchiness isn’t a great sign. Mine was itchy. Mine also grew very quickly and changed colour around the edges slightly - your edges look pink but that could just be from scratching.

Itchiness, growth, discolouration, size over 5mm, asymmetry - if I had any one of them that I was concerned about I’d book an emergency appointment based on my past experience. Better safe than sorry.
