Just intrigued and possibly looking for inspiration for next year, but where is everyone going on holiday this year.

This year we are going to Disneyland Paris and Bognor butlins 😂😂

We live in SE Asia so I feel like I'm sightseeing every day.

Christmas was koh samui
Easter was Philippines
Summer will be UK
Planning Phnom Penh for October
Thailand for Christmas if savings allow.
DC off to Thailand on a school trip in November.

I know we are lucky and we won't live here forever so making the most of it.

We went nowhere by grandparent's house for years...

Week in Italy at Easter
Girly weekend in Barcelona in June
Prague and Budapest in the summer holidays
Might do something Oct half term but haven't decided yet

Quiet year for holidays here. We’re off to the Lake District in half term, and will then do Cornwall and Yorkshire in the summer holds. We may do Sicily in October if DH can get the time off.

Just booked Kephalonia for 2 weeks in the summer. Last year was rainy Ireland, do can't wait for some sun!

AvonCallingBarksdale · 08/05/2019 08:34

Barcelona earlier in the year and Seychelles later in the year.

Had a cheapy weekend at CentreParcs in January (well, you know - 'cheap' for CP).

Florida and New York at Easter.

Weekend in Prague with friends June

Group villa holiday in August in Tuscany, book-ended by Amalfi area and a couple of nights in Rome.

Already booked next Easter - Florida and Boston.

Booked a week in a villa in Lanzarote in July with my sister.

She's poorly so we need to be in a country with good healthcare just in case... hopefully she'll be fine by then.

The villa has a pool, short walk from a lovely beach & restaurants, bars, supermarket, bus stop, taxi rank etc.

Italy earlier this year.
Mauritius in July - needed a relaxing beach holiday after all of the walking and sightseeing in Italy! Then probably somewhere around November/December time - no idea where!

We’ve been to Madeira and the French Alps (skiing) in January and March, and had a week in Staffordshire in the caravan at Easter. We’re going to Lake Como (Airbnb) in June and France in August (caravan again). Will also try to get some more UK caravanning in. I love being away.

I find may half term crazy cheap if you book in advance
Last may I took the dcs to Hong Kong which cost £1300 flights and hotel for the week
This year we're going to New York which has cost £1600 flights and hotel for the week
Both cheaper than center Parcs 🤣

This year on my own with dp I've done Malaga, Tenerife and Hong Kong
We still have palma, Alicante and Thailand to go (luckily he pays for all our trips as I'm lone parent)

Not taking the dcs away August as planning Disney Florida next year

DonkeyHohtay · 08/05/2019 11:38

France and then Cyprus in October.
