Tonsil stone or tonsillitis

DD is complaining of ear ache and a sore throat. I loped inside her throat and it looks sore on one side.

Does anyone know if it looks like tonsillitis or a tonsil stone, I am going to try to get a gp appointment tomorrow.

Looks like a stone to me, the tonsils aren't really swollen, which mine usually get massive when I get bacterial tonsillitis

Fairly sure they're tonsil stones. I get them too, gargling helps. Most satisfying when you cough them up whole. Very stinky though.

I can see at least 3 in there.

3! I can only see something on one side - have cropped her teeth out of this photo (poor girl also has wisdom teeth coming though and recently had glandular fever!).

That looks like inflammation to me as well as the white.

So I would say a virus or infection.

GP tomorrow.

Eek, I’ve just been reading about quinsy - now I’m worried it could be that!
