What do you like/dislike about your job

I enjoy my job and I like what I do but I can't always help think is there something better out there with better pay and more benefits. What benefits do you get? A lot of my colleagues moan about how they don't like it and I always just think, if you don't like it then go! Have you stayed in a job you don't like and if so why? I assume money will be the main thing keeping people staying

I get to travel a little with my job, and when abroad we entertain guests in nice restaurants. However it’s still work and we never get any free time if that makes sense. So pro’s and cons with that. never any time to see any sights for example.

I also get to choose one item per year that we sell ( the value of £800) which is nice.

I get to work from home a lot which I enjoy.

I don’t like the fact I only get 20 days holiday despite there for 10 years , or the fact that my assistant is paid the same as me despite only joining us 8 months ago.

I wish we had sick pay or health insurance.

My colleagues - I work with incredibly clever but lovely people in a cutting-edge field.
The institution I work out - it carries a lot of weight.
The opportunities I have come across whilst being there.
My car parking space.
The flexibility given that I am a single mum with no family support.
Pay is shit but I manage well. I know I could treble my salary elsewhere but I won’t have the combination of benefits I have here.
