Has anyone had experience of physiotherapy for disordered breathing/asthma. Currently I am medicated to the max. Resp. consultant has referred me for this the other week. Had one session so far, won;t see therapist again till June.
I have only started (5 days ago)and am still experiencing wheezing etc. just started another dose of steroids.
Right now I am not feeling much hope. I am doing the exerrcises but feels like an uphill battle.
Any input grateflly accepted.
Am looking at accupuncture too.

My son has a little device called an acapella which helps clear the mucus of his chest which has helped a lot

I don't know whether it would work for you, but I saw an osteopath about something totally unrelated once, and she sorted my back out and put it properly into line (loads of twisting and cracking). Sorting out my posture improved my asthma loads, so it is worth a go.
