Looking at doing a spa day with some friends.

Found a hotel looks nice good facilities. Included in spa day are pools etc, lunch and 25min treatment.

There's a few of us going, most ppl are happy with just 25 min treatment however a couple of us might upgrade to a longer or additional treatment.

Is this ok? One friend says she'd like to but can't afford to therefore no one should upgrade as it's unfair on others.

We would obviously all be having the treatments at different times throughout the day so it's not a though we are opting out of an activity done together.

I just don't want to be rude and am also very aware that I'm very lucky to be in a good financial situation which not everyone is.

I've been on a spa day with a group of friends and some of us had longer / shorter treatments with no bother so I think it's fine.

However, in this case your friend has specifically said that she thinks you should all have the same. I think she's being unreasonable, but at the same time I guess you have to accept that you'll be pissing get off if you do it and decide whether you want to avoid the controversy.

Best your misery guts mate stays at home then!

Of course it’s fine to have an addition treatment or upgrade if anyone wants to.

Er no, you just have what you like, don’t you? What’s the point of paying to get in there then not having treatments because your friend doesn’t want you to? She’s being weird.

Mississippilessly · 07/05/2019 13:58

No I think that's absolutely fine! Those having shorter ones but hang out by the pool etc.

One friend says she'd like to but can't afford to therefore no one should upgrade as it's unfair on others.

This is batshit. If there's a group of you then it's likely you'll all be having treatments at different times anyway so it's not like she'll be left on her own.
