My 7 week old keeps really crying like he is in a lot of pain whenever he trys passing wind or stools. Try all the winding techniques, nothing seems to settle him, He is BF, Stools are soft and hes happy as larry after. Has anyone experienced this before? I feel so useless 😞

Yes my daughter was exactly the same. It improved at ten weeks although she even now still needs a daily lactulose dose at 2.5. I'm sorry OP this stage really sucks! There are some drops your gp can prescribe you. They might help or they might not. Hang in there.

Peak crying stage, it gets better

Hows his latch? We went through horrible crying from this age until 5 months because he has a tounge tie that wasnt picked up. He was taking in alot of wind when feeding also could there be something your eating causing extra wind? Broccoli and tomatoes I had to avoid. It gets better though

Thank you for taking your time to reply guys!
His latch seems ok no tongue tie from what I can tell, is there a way apart from going GP to be able to tell if he does have it?
I'm not sure, my diet is pretty much the same every week (on a budget atm) can he all of a sudden react differently to certain foods. I have read up that a lot of Parents have this trouble around this age. But my LG didn't go through anything like this and to me it just doesn't seem right. He doesn't have a temp and is completely fine after, Im just at a loss. Waiting on a call from the HV hoping she'll have some advice too.
