Thinking of changing jobs to receptionist/Admin. Courses/qualifications to improve my prospects?

I'm unhappy in my current job and feel it's time for a change after 5 years. I've worked as a receptionist and in customer services years ago (10+ years) so feel like I need to update my skills in order to be hired. Are there any courses I should do? Or tips in general?

Tia

Vision 2 Learn do free NVQs in business admin, all online.

That looks good, and free!

Any more tips?!

I have only used Excel at a fairly basic level - recently applied for (and got) a job where advanced skills were desirable. I did an online Excel course before the interview to get myself up to speed; something similar might be worth it.

I recruit and interview for both of those positions. ECDL may help but we normally just ask for examples of when you have used Microsoft Office.
