My hubby and I have a week off on June and would like to take our 2yr old DS for a break in the UK. Does anyone have any recommendations or preferences between Butlins and centreparcs? Any suggestions much appreciated Smile

Butlins. In a hotel and with the more expensive dining plan.

We've been all over the world and my kids still bang on about Butlins.

Bognor has just redone the pool, I think we're going to have to go back again.

For a 2yr old Butlins all the way. The new pool at Bognor is great, the fairground has a decent amount they can use and the shows and entertainment are all geared at young audiences. The indoor rides are all for under 4's really. You can stay for 2 nights for your first time of you want and it's less than £200 without dining if you book right. The hotels are ok, nothing fancy but it's cheap and cheerful. They do 'Just for Tots' weeks in term time and they have crafts and a library and things laid on, the small racetrack is turned into a little tykes track with all LT cars and bikes. It's not much of a holiday for us, but then we don't holiday for us with young kids anyway. From about 5 CP is better. We don't do dining plans but there's a Tesco/ Sainsburys down the road and a Burger King, chip shop, Papa Johns and pub restaurants. The arcade is decent for a wander about if you're 2. Lots of tat to buy in the toyshop, bubble guns and balloons go down well and the evening places sell all manner of light up shit. Mine love it!!
