I'm soon going to be a first time mum. I'm quite excited and can't wait to meet my tiny wee baby. However mid trough pregnancy I had a idea that I just decided to follow. I was looking for duvet and carry blanket for my little one. I'm big on plastic free and biodegradable options and was hoping to find something but other than expensive wool or feathers there just wasn't anything out there. All silicone and polyester fillings. So I got in touch with my few places. I found a lovely medical grade bamboo fabric which is weaved in Europe. Made first samples. Showed product to friend and she loved it!
I was so excited and decided to get quotes from production etc. my friend mentioned I can launch on Kickstarter to pay for manufacturing. However I have no idea about PR and how to promote products like this. I called to few agencies and they quoted me £25000 for a campaign ;(((( which is more than the amount I need to raise. I'm thinking about approaching bloggers however I only have prototype atm. I'm new to instagram and seem to have very little luck.
So what would you do?
