Just wondering if anyone else experience their S/O feeling baby kick earlier than the average 20-24 wks?

SO ? But yes earlier than 20 weeks is not unusual.

I felt kicks at 17 weeks but it wasn't until about 24 weeks that I felt them regularly. I think that's pretty normal.

I had flutters from 13 weeks and kicks at 18 weeks but baby was transverse breech.

Yes, dh could see and feel babies kicking my insides apart from relatively early. Can't remember from how many weeks though.

Ds1 rubbed a limb (guessing leg) right across my tummy from pretty early on, hilarious to feel and watch as the lump moved all across. Ds3, I felt first movements from 12 weeks then dh could feel them often and hard soon afterwards, he was the largest and most active before being born though.

Also, I think it depends largely on position of baby and which limbs they move for how easy or hard it is for others to feel it.

What's a S/O?

pearldeodorant · 06/05/2019 11:22

Significant other I'm assuming aka DP/DH in mumsnet speak

I felt a flutter when I was about 17 weeks, but figured it was probably wind. First discernible definite kick I felt was about 19 weeks.

Do you mean your husband feeling your baby kick inside you, or your wife feeling the baby kick?

With my 2nd, I could feel her about 14 weeks and dh could feel her not long afterwards. It was amazing for him because of my placenta location with dc1, he never got to feel him move at all.
